A leading European bakery manufacturer is looking to appoint a Foodservice National Account Manager to support continued growth across the UK foodservice channel. The business has built an excellent reputation for premium frozen bakery, Viennoiserie, patisserie, bread and savoury products, supplying a broad customer base across foodservice, retail, wholesale and bakery channels.

Role
As Foodservice National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key end-user customers across the UK, with a particular focus on hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, casual dining groups and premium foodservice operators. Customers may include leading hotel groups, restaurant groups and coffee chains such as Hilton, Accor, Radisson, Pret, Caffè Nero, Starbucks and The Ivy Collection.

The role will focus on building strong commercial relationships, developing joint business plans, identifying new product opportunities and driving profitable growth across an established customer base, while also opening new doors within the wider foodservice market.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have proven foodservice account management experience, with a strong preference for someone who has managed end-user customers across the HORECA channel, including hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, casual dining groups or premium hospitality operators. Bakery experience would be highly desirable, although candidates from frozen bakery, food-to-go, ingredients or closely related food categories will also be considered. You will be commercially strong, customer-focused and confident managing national or multi-site foodservice customers.

Location & Salary
This is a home based role with regular customer travel and travel to the company’s South East head office.
The package on offer is £65,000 to £75,000 basic salary, company car or car allowance, bonus and benefits.
