The Role
The Senior National Account Manager will take ownership of key national customer relationships and play a critical role in driving sustainable growth across the business.

This is a high-profile commercial role where you will shape and deliver customer strategy, own account P&L, lead Joint Business Planning, and drive performance across both branded and own-label portfolios. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to unlock category growth, improve commercial performance, and build long-term partnerships in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage key national customer accounts, delivering agreed sales and profit targets
- Lead Joint Business Planning and long-term customer strategy
- Manage full account P&L, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Drive growth across branded and own-label ranges
- Identify and deliver new commercial and category growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams including supply chain, marketing and finance to ensure aligned execution
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders
About You
We’re looking for a commercially driven individual who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You’ll be confident operating in complex customer environments and committed to delivering sustainable results.

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a Senior National Account Manager or National Account Manager role within FMCG or large-scale retail, ideally UK grocery
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering customer growth
- Experience owning account P&L and leading Joint Business Planning
- Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Analytical, organised, and comfortable using data to drive decisions
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
