The Business
Our client is one of the world's most respected branded food businesses, combining the heritage, scale and investment of a global organisation with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a fast-growing UK operation.
Their portfolio consists of market-leading impulse and grocery brands that continue to outperform through outstanding innovation, strong consumer demand and exceptional customer partnerships.
Unlike many large FMCG organisations, decisions are made quickly, ideas are encouraged, and individuals are given genuine ownership.
The UK business is lean, ambitious and highly collaborative, creating an environment where talented commercial people can make a visible impact rather than becoming another layer within a large corporate structure. Supported by substantial global investment across Brand Marketing, Consumer Insight, Category, Innovation and Supply Chain, the business has built a platform for significant long-term growth across UK Grocery.
Now they are looking for an outstanding Senior National Account Manager to help deliver the next chapter.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional account management position.
You will become the commercial owner of one of the business's strategically important grocery partnerships, managing a significant branded portfolio and helping shape the long-term direction of the customer relationship. You'll work alongside senior commercial leaders to develop customer strategies that balance immediate trading opportunities with longer-term category growth, ensuring both businesses continue to win together.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
