Business Account Manager – FMCG

Location: West of London/Hybrid – 3 days/office
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: To £70K plus benefits

Our client is a leading global savoury snacks manufacturer with a strong presence across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. They're seeking an experienced National Accounts or Business Manager to join the team and drive commercial success with major retail customers.

🔦 Position Overview

You'll manage a £15m+ account portfolio, driving revenue, volume, and margin targets through insight-led strategies. This role sits at the heart of customer relationships, combining commercial leadership with cross-functional collaboration to deliver joint business plans and shape growth opportunities.

📒 What you’ll be doing from Day 1

  • Own commercial accountability for £15m+ account portfolio performance
  • Lead joint business planning and customer relationship development
  • Develop and execute account strategies for promotions, distribution, and new product launches
  • Use shopper data, category insights, and commercial analysis to drive insight-led growth
  • Collaborate across marketing, category, finance, and supply chain teams
  • Maintain forecast accuracy, manage pricing, and deliver promotional ROI

  • Proven experience managing large account portfolios in FMCG or retail
  • Strong commercial capability – experience managing revenue, volume, and margin targets
  • Demonstrated experience developing and negotiating joint business plans with key customers
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and business intelligence tools
  • Ability to translate shopper and category insights into commercial strategies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels
