Senior National Account Manager – Asda, Morrisons & Iceland
Location: Field-based with regular travel to HQ & customers
Salary: £60,000 + 25% Bonus
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a commercially sharp Senior National Account Manager to take ownership of three major UK retail portfolios - Asda, Morrisons and Iceland. You’ll manage a sizeable P&L, deliver annual turnover, profit and distribution targets, and lead the strategic direction for these high-profile accounts. This role is ideal for an experienced NAM ready to step into a senior, autonomous position with full customer ownership and the freedom to drive growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and grow the Asda, Morrisons & Iceland portfolios, delivering sales, profit and distribution targets.
- Negotiate trading terms, costs, pricing and promotional plans within agreed company objectives.
- Identify new category opportunities and drive profitable new business across existing and emerging ranges.
- Maintain accurate production forecasts and collaborate closely with supply chain to ensure service and availability.
- Manage promotional activity and optimise ROI across all three retailers.
- Work with marketing and category teams to deliver detailed category solutions and insight-led recommendations.
- Keep internal teams updated on competitive activity and market changes.
- Attend trade shows, customer conferences and occasional out-of-hours customer entertainment.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure customers pay within agreed terms.

What You’ll Bring

- Degree (ideally business-related) and strong FMCG commercial grounding.
- Minimum 4 years FMCG Account experience.
- At least 2 years managing one of the top four UK multiples.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Confident negotiator with experience in joint business planning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
