Job Title: Senior National Account Manager - Iceland
Location: Field Based – Weekly travel expected to Carlsberg Britvic sites & customers
Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the role:
We are now recruiting for a Senior National Account Manager - Iceland, a strategically critical role which plays a pivotal part in growing both scale and profitability. This role provides a unique opportunity to build on core account management skills whilst taking full ownership of the P&L.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver customer-specific strategic plans aligned to channel objectives, commercial targets, and long-term growth ambitions.
- Create and execute tailored customer business plans that increase share growth, net revenue, profitability, and trading contribution.
- Manage joint business planning with customers, securing commitment to outlet-level execution strategies that enhance commercial results.
- Own the deployment of promotional and activation programmes, ensuring plans remain agile and responsive to changing customer and market needs.
- Own pricing and revenue growth efforts, including negotiation, stakeholder alignment, and effective handling of customer objections.
- Build close forecasting partnerships to improve demand accuracy, optimise supply planning, and support business performance.
- Establish and maintain senior-level customer relationships, identifying opportunities to unlock growth and expand strategic partnerships.
- Improve customer engagement through detailed preparation, clear negotiations, and impactful commercial meetings, while guiding others to apply these practices.
- Closely monitor account performance, using data and insight to course-correct, solve challenges, and accelerate growth through cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain a consistent market presence to deepen customer understanding, assess execution quality, guide teams, and make sure plans are carried out effectively.
- Hold full P&L accountability for your customer portfolio, managing investment strategies, budgets, rebates, and commercial returns to maximise ROI.
- Leverage CRM, planning, and commercial tools to enable better decision-making, enhance customer management, and deliver operational excellence.

Experience and Key Attributes:
- Inspirational communicator with high levels of integrity and credibility.
- Solid commercial acumen, with the ability to translate opportunities into gaining customer and outlet execution plans.
- Skilled at owning the P&L, creating forecasts, and delivering growth that improves profitability.
- Highly skilled in selling, negotiation, and securing mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Effective relationship builder, able to collaborate effectively with others at all levels.
- Willing to engage in constructive debate and be challenged in pursuit of better results.
- Solid organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
- Experienced in managing trade investment and commercial budgets.
- Knowledge of category development and customer category strategies.
