About the Company
This well-established European food group is a leading manufacturer of innovative, value-added chilled and frozen products.
The group operates several businesses and manufacturing facilities across the UK and Europe, generating annual sales of approximately €250 million, including around £80 million within the UK. Its broad product portfolio includes party food, vegetarian products, value-added snacks, dairy-based products, pizza and frozen convenience foods. The business supplies customers across grocery retail, discount, wholesale, foodservice, B2B and international markets.
The UK operation combines the resources and manufacturing capabilities of a major international group with the pace, autonomy and entrepreneurial culture of a close-knit commercial team.
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager to join the UK retail team and take responsibility for a portfolio of leading grocery multiple retailers.
Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will have full commercial ownership of your accounts, developing customer strategies, strengthening senior relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver profitable, sustainable growth.
This is more than a day-to-day account management role. You will play a central part in shaping joint business plans, developing new product opportunities and ensuring the business continues to be recognised as a trusted and valued private label partner.
With access to extensive UK and European manufacturing capabilities, you will have a strong platform from which to secure new listings, expand existing ranges and bring innovative products to market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
