The Role
To help fuel our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to unlock value in new and existing customers, and help launch the brand into exciting new categories, so we’re on the hunt for a passionate, pro-active and tenacious go-getter to join our sales team.

You’ll be looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to have a step-change impact at a business with plenty of headroom to grow. As Senior National Account Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of accounts across retail giving you real autonomy and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
For an ambitious, high-achieving sales manager, ready to step up, there is the chance to be a key member of the sales team and work to drive growth over the next few years.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic account management of key retail accounts including Top 4 grocery
- Build and grow strong, collaborative relationships and manage accounts in line with revenue, volume & profitability targets, across new & existing categories
- Full responsibility of P&L for customers
- Identify and pursue new areas of opportunity and growth
- Monitor and track all promotions & marketing in your accounts to ensure strong compliance and analysing the impact on performance
- Monitor and report on market insight, performance, trends and competitor activities to drive informed decision making
- Help to collate, analyse and summarise weekly & monthly sales performance for internal reporting
- Work with the supply chain teams to ensure consistent and reliable delivery, and strong availability within your accounts
- Work with the entire team to successfully deliver NPD launches and offer wider business support as the team grows
About You
You’ll be a key member of the sales team at P+G, helping us to grow our brand, visibility and presence across the UK.
Must haves:
- Previous FMCG account management experience, with Retail customers
- Strong commercial acumen, with track record of delivering growth
- Experienced in negotiations, P&L management and confident with Excel [confirm specific level required, e.g. pivot tables/reporting vs advanced modelling]
- Experience in fresh or short shelf-life categories (a bonus, not essential)
- Enthusiasm, ambition and high energy to develop the accounts and progress in your career
- Take ownership and grow existing accounts by developing relationships, optimising ranges, ensuring accounts benefit from NPD and champion the brand
- Be a strong and confident communicator, both verbal and written, with excellent presentation skills and most importantly - persuasive!
- Be able to think on your feet. We’re a small, agile team so you’ll be able to manage multiple projects at one time and have the ability to maintain an eye for detail whilst juggling your workload
- Be passionate about food, challenger brands and shaping category defining innovation

The Details
- Reports into: Head of Sales
- Location: Hybrid working – Nine Elms Office – 2 days a week in the office (Tue + Thurs)
- Travel: to UK customers as required

- Our working hours are 9am – 5pm, with 4pm finish on Fridays + 3pm Summer Fridays!
