Job Title: Senior National Account Manager

Reports To: Director of Sales

Location: Tandy House, Regal Way, Watford, WD24 4YE, with regular travel to national customer sites across the UK

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet customer and business needs

Company Description

RVM Systems UK is part of a Swedish family-owned group specialising in reverse vending machines and complete Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) solutions for retailers, hospitality, and public spaces across Europe. Drawing on decades of experience from Scandinavian markets, we focus on making bottle and container recycling simple, enabling a more circular economy.

We deliver end-to-end solutions including hardware, software, installation, maintenance, and integration with DRS administrators, giving customers one partner and no gaps in service. As a lean, agile organisation, we pride ourselves on fast, customer-focused responses, practical support, and long-term commitment that goes beyond the initial contract.

Purpose of the Role

With the UK's Deposit Return Scheme rollout accelerating demand across major retail and hospitality groups, we're looking for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to lead our most strategically significant customer relationships and help shape RVM Systems' national account strategy as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the commercial relationship with RVM Systems' most strategically important national accounts, engaging at senior/board level with customer organisations
  • Set and own the national account strategy in collaboration with the Director of Sales, including account segmentation, growth targets, and retention priorities
  • Lead complex, high-value contract negotiations and renewals, including pricing structures, service level agreements, and multi-year commercial terms
  • Identify and drive major account expansion opportunities, including new national rollouts, additional service lines, and cross-sell of new solutions
  • Act as senior escalation point for significant service or commercial issues, working directly with senior stakeholders across Service, Installation, and technical teams to resolve them
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to National Account Managers, supporting their account planning and negotiation approach where relevant
  • Prepare and present strategic account reviews, forecasts, and business performance reports to customers at senior level, and to the Director of Sales and wider leadership team
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory/DRS developments at a strategic level, feeding insight into commercial and pricing strategy
  • Represent RVM Systems at senior level at industry events, conferences, and customer forums, acting as a credible ambassador for the business
  • Ensure all commercial activity is conducted in line with the Company's Code of Conduct and values

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
