Job Description:
Conexus Recovery & Field Services is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our growing in-house IT team. As client demand continues to increase, we are investing in expanding our internal development capability to support and enhance our systems, build new functionality, and help drive future technical projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across modern backend services, APIs, front-end applications, integrations, automation, and cloud-ready infrastructure within a fast-moving operational business.
Core Technical Skills Required
We are looking for candidates with strong experience in:
- C# / ASP.NET Core API development
- TypeScript / Angular
- SQL databases and query writing
Additional Skills (Beneficial but Not Essential)
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
- Message-based distributed systems
- MassTransit / RabbitMQ experience desirable
- Docker
- MongoDB
- PowerShell scripting
- API Gateway technologies such as Ocelot
- Hangfire or similar job scheduling / background task frameworks
- JSON, Webhooks, API integrations, Import/Export processes

About the Role
You will work on systems that are already live in production and used operationally across the business. The role includes:
- Developing and maintaining backend APIs and services
- Supporting and enhancing Angular front-end applications
- Building integrations with third-party platforms and client systems
- Assisting with automation, messaging, and scheduled processing
- Supporting existing systems and helping deliver new client requirements
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve operational workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Someone comfortable working across both backend and frontend development
- A self-starter who can work independently when required
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a small agile team
- Willingness to learn new technologies where required

Location: Londonderry - Hybrid Working (4 Days Office / 1 Day Home Working)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 depending on experience
