📅 Here’s the exciting bit… a day includes This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing high street retailer. We are looking for a .NET Developer (Mid-Level) to join our expanding development team. The team works in an Agile (Kanban) environment, delivering customer-focused solutions aligned to our IT strategy. Working in a small, high-impact team (4–6 developers), you will take end-to-end ownership across the full technology stack — from applications and APIs to databases and cloud infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in designing solutions, contributing to technical decisions, and working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
📝 Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions Take ownership of features from design through to deployment and support Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and shape requirements Ensure performance, security, and reliability of applications Conduct code reviews and support best practices across the team Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards Customer Focused: Be the voice of the customer and support delivery of customer-first solutions across our platforms Tech & AI: Use AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks Apply critical thinking to AI-generated outputs Balance AI-driven efficiency with human insight and collaboration

🛠️ Technical Responsibilities: Design and build robust .NET / C# applications and APIs Work across the full stack (APIs, databases, mobile, cloud) Build and manage cloud-based solutions using Azure Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions Maintain clear technical documentation (architecture, APIs) Optimise application performance, scalability, and security Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with minimal disruption

📌 Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 4+ years’ experience as a .NET Developer or similar role Strong proficiency in the .NET stack (C#, APIs, backend development) Experience with at least one of the following (ideally both): Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Mobile development (Xamarin / .NET MAUI / Flutter) Experience working across full-stack development (APIs, databases, and/or mobile/front-end) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team with end-to-end ownership Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies (desirable) 💡Here's what's in it for you: . 33 days holiday rising to 38 days with length of service.
