Oliver Bernard have partnered with a growing start up in the FinTech space. Their platform powers the decarbonisation of asset-based finance, enabling businesses to transition to net zero carbon emissions.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer with full-stack experience, though this role will lean heavily towards the backend. You will need to demonstrate your ability to utilise AI development tools actively in your current work.
You will be joining as one of the most senior engineers in the team and have the opportunity to mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Ideal applicants will have experience working in startups and/or fast-paced environments, thriving on ownership and proactive contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to C#, .NET, and backend development efforts
- Utilise AI development tools like Azure Functions, GitHub Copilot, or Claude
- Work closely with the platform’s FinTech ecosystem for carbon transition finance
- Collaborate and lead within a young, ambitious team
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Respond to technical challenges with ownership and initiative

Required Technical Stack
- C# and .NET as primary development frameworks
- Familiarity with Azure Functions
- Frontend involvement via React and TypeScript (though not core to this role)
- Experience with Cosmos DB for data management
- Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude
