Synechron is looking for a hands-on Senior.NET Developer to join our technology team, delivering high-quality C#/.NET solutions across a range of business-critical enterprise platforms. The role also involves leadership and mentorship to a wider team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing technology estate, supporting new product onboarding, methodology changes, platform enhancements and greenfield development.
You’ll work on enterprise-grade applications, APIs, batch services and integrations, helping to deliver robust, secure and production-ready technology in a controlled environment.
ROLE:
- Design, build and maintain C# /.NET applications, REST APIs, services, batch jobs and reusable platform components
- Develop and implement shared libraries, templates, orchestration, configuration and operational dashboard components
- Integrate with MongoDB, SQL Server, data warehouse platforms, enterprise data sources and messaging technologies
- Support platform modernisation through container-ready application design, deployment readiness, service improvement and technical debt reduction
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve coding productivity, automate test generation, support refactoring, enhance documentation and improve pull request quality
- Take part in code reviews, technical design discussions, sprint planning, estimation, defect resolution and release readiness
- Write robust unit, integration and regression tests, and support UAT, production verification, cutover activities and early-life support
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers, delivery managers, support teams and business stakeholders to deliver controlled, supportable change

EXPERIENCE
- Strong hands-on experience in C# /.NET development within enterprise or production-facing environments
- Good knowledge of.NET Framework,.NET Core / modern.NET, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and common design patterns
- Strong SQL skills, including query optimisation, stored procedures, data modelling awareness and database integration
- Experience with MongoDB or similar document databases, including querying, indexing and performance optimisation
- Proven experience building REST APIs, service integrations and event/message-driven systems
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tooling, package management tools, workflow tracking tools and controlled release processes
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted software development practices, including prompt-driven coding support, test generation, refactoring assistance and documentation automation
- Strong focus on clean code, testing, security, maintainability and production supportability

- Exposure to container platforms and orchestration technologies
- Experience in financial services, regulated environments or other complex enterprise settings
- Experience with messaging platforms
