The role
We're looking for a Senior Network Architect to design and build strong, secure, and scalable network systems that keep our organisation running smoothly. This role is key to helping us modernise our technology, improve network visibility and security, and deliver better services.
You'll focus on making our network services better over time, using advanced technologies like SDWAN, Direct Internet Access, and MPLS. You'll also help clearly separate but connect our IT and Operational Technology (OT) networks, especially following the Purdue model.
You will
- Design Scalable Network Solutions: Develop high-level network architectures that align with business goals and integrate with existing infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Ensure Security and Performance: Implement robust security measures, ensure compliance with industry standards, and continuously monitor and optimise network performance.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Oversee third-party service providers and collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective network solutions.
- Lead Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements in network services, leveraging emerging technologies to support business growth.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Mentor team members, guide project implementation, and promote a culture of innovation and learning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
