Senior Network Consultant — make your mark at a fast-moving MSP going places £60,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Profit Share | Remote | UK Wide
Our client is a fast-growing UK MSP with serious ambitions — actively pursuing Expert MSSP status with Fortinet and investing heavily in network and security capability. They're looking for a Senior Network Consultant to take on meaningful work: scoping projects, taking customers on transformation journeys, and delivering outcomes that stick.
This isn't a role where you wait to be told what to do. You'll take a scope of works and own it — design, delivery, documentation, and customer relationship. The business is genuinely different in how it approaches managed services, with network telemetry, AI-driven analysis, and automation on the roadmap. If you want to build something and leave a mark, this is worth a serious look.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Own network transformation projects end-to-end — scoping, design, delivery, documentation, and handover • Act as trusted advisor to customers — guide them through complex network and security decisions • 4th line escalation support in the short term — the senior technical authority when things get difficult • Work across the full Fortinet stack: FortiSASE, FortiSD-WAN, FortiLAN, FortiEMS, FortiAP • Deliver across multi-vendor environments — Cisco and HPE Aruba alongside Fortinet • UK site visits for project delivery — occasional on-call element as the role develops • Contribute to how the business evolves — telemetry, automation, and AI-driven network outcomes are on the horizon

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
