Senior Network Engineer | CISCO | CCNP | CCIE | Telecoms | Networking | LAN | WAN | WIFI
We are supporting a specialist telecommunications and networking organisation looking to appoint a Senior Network Consultant to join their growing technical team.
This is a senior, customer-facing position suited to someone operating at CCNP to CCIE level, with a strong background in enterprise networking, network security and telecoms infrastructure. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with customer engagement, solution design and team leadership responsibilities.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, shape network solutions from concept through to delivery, and act as a trusted technical advisor across a variety of complex networking projects.

Droitwich (Hybrid) - 2/3 days on-site

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Designing, implementing and documenting enterprise-level telecoms and network infrastructure solutions
- Producing LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and security architectures aligned to customer requirements and industry best practice
- Configuring and supporting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and associated networking technologies
- Leading technical discussions with customers, understanding requirements and translating them into scalable solutions
- Supporting proof-of-concept deployments and bespoke network designs
- Acting as a senior escalation point for technical teams, providing guidance, mentoring and leadership
- Conducting network assessments, troubleshooting complex issues and delivering performance improvements
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
- Carrying out onsite installations and customer engagements where required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong telecoms and enterprise networking background
- Cisco expertise at CCNP to CCIE level
- Deep understanding of routing, switching, network security and WAN technologies
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex network solutions
- Strong customer-facing consultancy experience
- Comfortable leading technical workshops and presenting solutions to customers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
