Razorblue Role
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team of like-minded tech people. Should you choose to accept, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Resolving monitoring issues for our internal Infrastructure
- Ensuring core networking and hosting platform are performing at optimal levels
- Design, plan, and test networking platform projects, for maintenance, expansion, and upgrades
- Ownership of delivering internal projects to a high standard
- Escalation for the service desk of client issues they cannot resolve
- Mentor non-senior engineers to develop skills and knowledge
- Participation in our on-call rota for the Networks team
Our perfect candidate should have a wealth of knowledge spanning various technologies and being able to use these skills to troubleshoot and deliver five star solutions that keep our clients happy is a must!

Razorblue Requirements

Technical Skills:
- Hold a Service Provider or Enterprise Network (Juniper/Cisco/etc) certification at the “Professional” level; Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer or equivalent Next-Generation Firewall vendor certification (Desirable)
- Working knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
- Extensive experience with multi-vendor products is essential. Juniper, Cisco, and Palo Alto Networks experience is desirable.
- Proven experience in planning and implementing networking projects.
- Experience using monitoring systems such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, etc.
- Experience working with complex Wi-Fi deployments & Unified Communications
- Experience working with BGP in an ISP environment.
- Experience working in an MPLS environment.
- Strong understanding of ticket systems and understanding priorities and SLAs

Essential Soft Skills
- Effective communication
- Methodical approach to diagnosis and documentation

- Full clean UK driving license
- Excellent conversational fluency in English is required to clearly explain complex technical issues.
