Senior Network Engineer
Location: London (5 Days On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team, supporting a large-scale, multi-site enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on networking professional who combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, business-focused mindset.
You will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimisation, and support of modern network infrastructures, including LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud connectivity. The role also requires physical deployment and maintenance activities across office and data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise LAN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Manage and optimise multi-site network environments.
- Lead network migrations and transformation projects.
- Troubleshoot complex network, performance, and connectivity issues.
- Support VPN, cloud networking, and firewall integrations.
- Ensure network security, resilience, and scalability.
- Install, decommission, and maintain network equipment in racks and cabinets.
- Patch and manage structured cabling infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver network improvements.
- Participate in critical incident response and root cause analysis.

Technical Requirements
- Cisco CCNP (or equivalent experience/certification).
- Strong routing and switching knowledge (OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs).
- Enterprise LAN design and support experience.
- Wi-Fi networking expertise, including:
- 802.1X
- RADIUS/NAC integration
- Wireless troubleshooting
- SD-WAN experience, ideally with Meraki AutoVPN.
- Site-to-site and remote access VPN technologies.
- Firewall administration (Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting cloud-connected networks (Azure and/or AWS).
- Experience managing networks across multiple sites (20+ locations preferred).
- Proven structured troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
