Senior Network Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, optimisation, and support of a complex enterprise network environment.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies and will play a key role in delivering network transformation projects while providing third-line technical support and mentoring junior engineers.
This will be a 12 months+ contract with on-site presence requested in Greater London, UK.

- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data centre network infrastructure.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto network and security solutions.
- Support business-critical production environments, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
- Lead network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Configure and manage routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, and VRRP.
- Implement and support VPN technologies, SD-WAN, and secure remote connectivity.
- Manage firewall policies, NAT, IPS, URL filtering, GlobalProtect VPN, and threat prevention using Palo Alto firewalls.
- Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional projects.
- Provide third-line support for complex networking incidents and perform root cause analysis.
