Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Profile Of Person Required:

We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer who enjoys getting hands-on with technology and takes pride in delivering reliable, secure networking solutions.

You'll already be supporting complex Cisco environments and be confident troubleshooting networking issues independently rather than escalating them.

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • Cisco routing and switching.
  • Cisco Meraki.
  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
  • Enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
  • Firewalls and VPN technologies.
  • Wireless networking.
  • Network monitoring and performance troubleshooting.
  • 3rd Line technical support.
  • Infrastructure projects and network upgrades.
  • Technical documentation.

Exposure to Azure networking, Microsoft technologies or Zero Trust networking would be advantageous but isn't essential.

CCNA or CCNP certification would also be beneficial.

More importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of issues through to resolution and wants to be part of a collaborative engineering team where technical excellence is genuinely valued.
