Senior Network & Telephony Support Engineer

Senior Network and Telephony Support Engineer

About Radius

We’re an ambitious, forward-thinking global business dedicated to delivering sustainable mobility, connectivity, and technology solutions for our customers. Since 1990, we’ve remained at the forefront of technology innovation, guiding businesses through the energy transition with leading e-mobility solutions.

Our mission? To help businesses of all sizes adapt to the future and capitalise on its opportunities. And we’re on a journey of growth—would you like to join us?

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Network and Telephony Support Engineer in our Telecoms division to provide expert technical support for our customers’ voice and connectivity solutions.

This role will see you:

  • Taking full ownership of complex VoIP, SIP, routing, switching, and connectivity issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving escalations that span multiple systems, not just a single service.
  • Working with carriers and third-party suppliers to drive resolutions.
  • Independent troubleshooting with 3rd-line support only when required.
  • Documenting resolutions and guiding fellow engineers on advanced issues.

Responsibilities

  • Own and resolve complex escalations across VoIP platforms, SIP networks, routing, switching, and connectivity.
  • Perform cross-system troubleshooting—not just fixing known issues.
  • Handle technical incidents where the root cause is unclear.
  • Engage with external suppliers and carriers to resolve complex issues.
  • Achieve self-sufficiency in resolving most escalations before escalating further.
  • Record and provide detailed fault analysis and resolution steps.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in advanced troubleshooting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
