Senior Next.js Engineer (Contract) – Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid - Coventry or London (1-2 days per week onsite)
Contract: 12 Months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Next.js Engineer to join a major enterprise organisation delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes. You will play a key role in designing and developing modern, high-performance web applications that support business-critical platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full stack, building scalable applications, solving complex technical challenges, and driving performance improvements within a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern web applications using Next.js App Router
- Build applications using React Server Components (RSC) and Server Actions
- Develop scalable backend APIs and server-side functionality
- Design and implement MongoDB schemas and data models
- Build performant full-stack applications using React, TypeScript and Node.js
- Implement SSR, SSG and ISR strategies
- Optimise application performance and Core Web Vitals
- Develop caching strategies for scalable applications
- Implement observability using New Relic
- Work within Agile Scrum teams delivering enterprise solutions
