Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the Rotherham Memory Service and Community Mental Health Team.
About the Role
This is a rewarding role at the forefront of dementia care, supporting individuals experiencing memory concerns through assessment, diagnosis, treatment and post diagnosis support. The post holder will work as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients and their carers.
You will play a key role in the delivery of memory assessments, providing expert guidance and support, and contributing to service development and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive memory assessments and cognitive testing
- Delivering diagnoses with compassion and clarity
- Supporting patients and carers through education, guidance and ongoing care
- Managing your own caseload with autonomy and clinical judgement
- Working as a non-medical prescriber or developing into this role
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and external partners
- Contributing to service improvement, teaching and innovation
