We are opening a new clinic in Dublin, creating an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nurse to join the team launching a new memory service. The role will be responsible for the clinical activity on site, ensuring patients have an excellent experience with us.

Key duties include delivering services to our patients in line with our service specifications, including:

  • Demonstrate an accurate and comprehensive understanding of the services we provide, responding to patient queries and promoting our services appropriately
  • Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients regarding treatment plans and next steps.
  • Escalate complex cases or concerns to the Consultant/Clinical Director promptly.
  • Support Consultant/Clinical Director in the follow-up consultations assisting with the monitoring symptoms, treatment response, and side effects.
  • Support prescribing and manage patients/subjects dosing in line with Consultant/Clinical Director instructions and clinical protocols.
  • Assist in the review patients histories, investigation results, and ongoing care needs.
  • Deliver clinical procedures and clinical care as required, in line with your clinical scope of practise, including preparing infusions

The Candidate

Applicants must be qualified Nurses registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

Essential

  • Available for part time work 3 days a week, must be Tuesday to Thursday.
  • Solid experience (minimum 2 years) working as a Senior Nurse (being Nurse in charge)
  • Solid experience (minimum 2 years) working in memory/dementia/Alzheimer services

Desirable

  • Experience of working in new services in stand alone role
  • Experience of managing emergency situations/deteriorating patients
  • Experience of expanding pathways and services

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range for role: EURO 60,000
