An independent, well-established small animal practice is looking to recruit a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its experienced team.
Whether you're an ambitious Senior RVN ready to take the next step into a Head Nurse role, or an existing Head Nurse looking for a fresh challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive practice that values leadership, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience is expected, ideally in a leadership role with the ability to manage a large team.
- Skills: Proficiency in consulting, client care, and the ability to coach other team members.
- Standards: Must be able to cover all RCVS standard requirements.
Qualifications
Further qualifications in leadership and management are highly desirable.

Schedule
- Weekdays: 3 - 4 weekdays (8:30 am to 7:00 pm)
- Saturday Rotation: 1-in-5 Saturday rotation (9:00 am to 1:00 pm).
Work-Life Balance
No out-of-hours (OOH) emergency work, as this is handled by an external provider.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- Salary: £37,000 – £39,000 pro rata (based on a 40-hour week).
- Holiday: 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays.
