Senior Nurse in Palliative Care
We are excited to invite applications for a Senior Nurse with a background in palliative care to join our dedicated and compassionate team at The Woodlands Inpatient Unit. The ideal candidate will bring both enthusiasm and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families.
In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring exceptional care and a supportive environment for patients in their final stages of life. We seek a dynamic individual who is passionate about improving patient experiences, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and actively contributing to the development of colleagues.
Key Requirements
- 1st Level Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a Band 5 Registered Nurse or a Band 6 registered nurse both with palliative experience.
- A dedication to ongoing professional development and improving team collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, promoting high standards of patient care.
- Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach in all aspects of the clinical environment.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Demonstrate passion for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety and well-being at all times.
- Take responsibility for holding the IMPaCT out-of-hours phone during weekdays and weekends, ensuring continuity of care and support during non-core hours.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and clinical guidelines.
