Senior Nursery Room Leader

As a Senior Room Leader at Busy Bees, you’ll oversee multiple rooms and ensure educational strategies are seamlessly integrated across the centre. This is a leadership role, where you’ll inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning.

What You’ll Do as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

  • Ensure consistency in educational strategies and practices across multiple rooms.
  • Lead curriculum planning and delivery, adapting activities to meet children’s diverse needs.
  • Mentor and develop Room Leaders, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.
  • Oversee children’s wellbeing and safeguarding, including adapted support for additional needs.
  • Build and maintain strong parent relationships, keeping them informed of child progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in early years education (e.g., Early Years Educator, NVQ).
  • Relevant early years experience—with supervisory or leadership background, ideally as:
    • Senior Room Leader
    • Senior Nursery Manager
    • Senior Practitioner
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for both children and team members.
