About Our Nursery

Located in Bristol (Emersons Green), our Ofsted-rated "Good" nursery:

  • Catering for 105 children, with a team of dedicated early years professionals
  • Provides excellent support for children with additional needs
  • Features a fully-trained early years teacher to deliver exceptional learning experiences

As a Senior Room Leader, you’ll lead multiple rooms while setting the standard for care and education:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & align educational strategies across the centre
  • Plan and deliver effective learning activities, tailored for diverse child needs
  • Mentor Room Leaders – inspire and develop a high-performing team
  • Oversee safeguarding and wellbeing, ensuring every child thrives
  • Foster strong parent relationships by sharing progress updates
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies

The Ideal Candidate

Qualification & Experience

  • Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education
  • Leadership experience in early years settings
  • Ideally as a Senior Room Leader, Manager, or Senior Practitioner

Core Skills

  • Strong leadership, with organisational and communication
  • Passion for inclusive, child-led learning
  • Approachable attitude that creates trust for both children and team
