Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Nursery Room Leader, you’ll ensure:
- Consistent educational strategies across multiple rooms
- Planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse children’s needs
- Mentorship of Room Leaders to build a collaborative and high-performing team
- Overseeing wellbeing and safeguarding of children, with support for those with additional needs
- Strong parent relationships, keeping them informed of their child’s development
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols
Ideal Candidate
- Qualification: Level 3 in Early Years Education or higher
- Experience: In early years settings, preferably with leadership or managerial experience (e.g., as a Senior Room Leader, Senior Room Manager, or Senior Practitioner)
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication
- Ability to create an inclusive, supportive environment for children and staff
