Senior Room Leader – Busy Bees

Leading nursery group in the UK

As a Senior Room Leader at Busy Bees, you will oversee multiple rooms and ensure that educational strategies are seamlessly integrated across the centre. This is a leadership role where you will inspire your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Nursery Room Leader, you’ll ensure:

  • Consistent educational strategies across multiple rooms
  • Planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse children’s needs
  • Mentorship of Room Leaders to build a collaborative and high-performing team
  • Overseeing wellbeing and safeguarding of children, with support for those with additional needs
  • Strong parent relationships, keeping them informed of their child’s development
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualification: Level 3 in Early Years Education or higher
  • Experience: In early years settings, preferably with leadership or managerial experience (e.g., as a Senior Room Leader, Senior Room Manager, or Senior Practitioner)
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication
    • Ability to create an inclusive, supportive environment for children and staff
