The Role

As a Senior Room Leader at Busy Bees, the UK’s leading nursery group, you will oversee multiple rooms to ensure seamless integration of educational strategies. This leadership role demands that you inspire your team to uphold the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Room Leader, you will:

  • Ensure consistent educational strategies across multiple rooms.
  • Lead activity planning & curriculum adaptation to meet children’s diverse needs.
  • Mentor & develop junior team members to foster a collaborative, high-performing group.
  • Oversee child wellbeing & safeguarding, including adaptations for children with additional needs.
  • Build parent relationships with regular updates on children’s progress.
  • Maintain health, safety & safeguarding compliance across the nursery.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in early years education.
  • Proven experience in an early years setting, ideally with leadership/supervisory roles (e.g., Senior Room Manager/Practitioner).
  • Strong leadership, organisational & communication skills.
  • A commitment to an inclusive, nurturing environment for both children and staff.
