Key Responsibilities
As Senior Room Leader, you will:
- Ensure consistent educational strategies across multiple rooms.
- Lead activity planning & curriculum adaptation to meet children’s diverse needs.
- Mentor & develop junior team members to foster a collaborative, high-performing group.
- Oversee child wellbeing & safeguarding, including adaptations for children with additional needs.
- Build parent relationships with regular updates on children’s progress.
- Maintain health, safety & safeguarding compliance across the nursery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in early years education.
- Proven experience in an early years setting, ideally with leadership/supervisory roles (e.g., Senior Room Manager/Practitioner).
- Strong leadership, organisational & communication skills.
- A commitment to an inclusive, nurturing environment for both children and staff.
