Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking for a new and exciting challenge where you can develop your skills within an inpatient mental health care setting?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our well-established team here at Lynfield Mount Hospital.

As a provider of care for people of all ages who have mental and/or community health needs, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality service, close to where people live and as much as possible tailored to an individual’s needs.
This vacancy is within our OT hub allocated to our male acute mental health wards, caring for males aged 18-65 who are experiencing acute mental illness.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will complete comprehensive assessments of functional ability, deliver individualized treatment plans, and support recovery and transition from hospital to home. You will work collaboratively with the wider MDT both on the ward and in the community. In addition, you will be responsible for the support and development of the occupational therapy and activity team within the hub.

Our Occupational Therapy and activity service is well established across the hospital site and offers exciting opportunities in collaborative working and service development.
We are seeking an innovative practitioner, able to drive service development, manage a complex caseload, and support the leadership within the occupational therapy and activity team on the acute inpatient wards.
