Senior Onboarding Client Services Specialist (Remote, UK-based)
Our partner company is seeking an experienced Senior Onboarding Client Services Specialist to drive seamless global onboarding experiences for multinational clients. This role sits at the intersection of customer service, operations, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in onboarding workflows for a diverse portfolio of clients—from startups to large enterprises.
About the Role
This is a high-impact opportunity where your work directly shapes thousands of global onboarding journeys. You will:
- Own and optimise end-to-end onboarding processes for international clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for complex client and stakeholder queries.
- Deliver bespoke onboarding solutions for enterprise clients with high-touch requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Payroll, Mobility, and CX teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Resolve escalations, escalate issues strategically, and drive process improvements at scale.
- Continuously enhance onboarding workflows through automation, feedback-driven insights, and operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities
Client & Customer Success
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for international clients, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high-quality execution.
- Be the primary contact for onboarding-related queries, providing expert guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Deliver tailored onboarding experiences for enterprise clients with complex global requirements.

Process Ownership & Improvement
- Lead operational execution of onboarding workflows, aligning them with service standards and customer experience goals.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of onboarding milestones for both employees and organisations.
- Gather and translate customer feedback into actionable improvements for processes and tools.
- Support automation and optimisation efforts to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
Escalation & Collaboration
- Handle escalations and complex operational issues, coordinating cross-functionally to resolve them swiftly.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Payroll, Mobility, and Operational teams to deliver seamless onboarding.
- Contribute to knowledge base documentation, FAQs, and scalable onboarding best practices.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in a customer-facing role, such as onboarding specialist, client services, HR operations, or customer success (EOR or SaaS experience is a plus).
- Deep understanding of global onboarding processes, employment practices, and HR operations.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams in a high-pressure, international environment.
- Experience escalating and resolving complex issues with professionalism and ownership.
- Exceptional communication skills—verbal and written—for engaging with clients and internal teams.

Technical & Operational
- Comfortable using SaaS platforms, ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk), and workspace management tools.
- Process-oriented mindset with experience driving automation, improvements, or efficiency gains.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous, global team.
Soft Skills
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask high-volume onboarding cases.
- Full fluency in English; additional languages are a major advantage.
