Procurement Specialist
Location: Warwick, UK
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Working Pattern: Full Time (37.5 hours/week)
Salary Range: £358 per day

Are you a dynamic Procurement Specialist ready to soar in the Industrial Applications sector? If you possess a blend of strategic insight and transactional expertise, we want to hear from you!
Your Mission:
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our procurement activities, ensuring efficient management of our procurement processes while hitting business targets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a diverse supplier portfolio and driving initial part sourcing activities.
- Negotiating price adjustment requests and resolving invoicing discrepancies.
- Managing a work queue to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).
- Collaborating closely with internal customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to enhance customer care and involvement.
- Contributing to the implementation of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and compliance.
- Supporting Supplier Management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, and development.
- Maintaining comprehensive records of documentation and adhering to online purchasing and contract management systems.
- Leading Procurement Business Plan activities as necessary.

What You Bring to the Table:
We are looking for candidates who have a wealth of experience and can demonstrate:
- Strong SAP Proficiency: Experience with the PS1ATLAS module in a production environment.
- Outstanding Excel Skills: You should be confident in handling large volumes of data and performing complex analyses.
- Experience: Direct Procurement within Aerospace or Industrial Applications is preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with PowerBI and a lean approach to problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: The ability to articulate achievements clearly and effectively.
- Independence & Ownership: A proven track record of taking ownership of strategic tasks with minimal supervision.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced/Fluent level in English.
Preferable Skills: Experience in complex C-class procurement, emphasising both strategic and operational capabilities. If you have experience managing complex products like castings and forgings, that would be an added bonus!
