Senior Operations Analyst
A well-established global macro hedge fund is looking to add an Operations Associate / Senior Associate as part of the continued growth of its Equities business. The role sits within a high-performing multi-asset platform trading across Equities, Fixed Income, Rates, Credit and Commodities.
The successful candidate will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Trading, Technology and external counterparties, helping to enhance operational infrastructure, improve scalability and maintain a strong control framework across a broad range of products and strategies.
Responsibilities Build, enhance and perform daily operational controls and reconciliations across positions, trades and cash balances across multiple asset classes Support the ongoing development of operational infrastructure, partnering with internal technology teams and external vendors to improve efficiency and scalability across both existing and new product areas Oversee daily OTC and Exchange margin processes, including monitoring, reconciliation and escalation management Investigate and resolve trade breaks across electronic affirmation and matching platforms including Traiana, CTM, TRM/Harmony, MarkitWire and various prime broker portals Maintain oversight of post-trade activities outsourced to third-party administrators, ensuring appropriate governance and escalation procedures are in place Provide support across lifecycle processing events including Corporate Actions, Succession Events and Credit Events, managing associated elections and rights linked to event-driven strategies

Requirements Experience within hedge fund operations, middle office or trade support in a multi-asset environment Good understanding of post-trade workflows across both listed and OTC products SME level Equity product knowledge. Familiarity with reconciliation processes, lifecycle events and electronic trade matching platforms Educated to degree level from a Russell Group University. Confident communicator with the ability to work closely with Front Office, Technology, Finance and external counterparties
