The Role
As the Senior Operations & Event Producer, you will lead the end-to-end operational, production, and logistical delivery of one/some of our events. This senior role requires you to develop and implement operational strategies, oversee seamless processes, manage complex budgets effectively, and drive collaboration to deliver outstanding experiences that align with business goals. Key responsibilities include mentoring and guiding the operations team, executing comprehensive event plans, fostering strong vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance. Ultimately, your execution will ensure that every aspect of the event runs smoothly and achieves resounding success.
Key Success Criteria
- Successful Event Delivery: Strategic planning & execution, seamless logistics, and on-time/within-budget completion.
- Strong Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Building partnerships, effective negotiation, and ensuring optimal service delivery.
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Maintaining safety standards, performance analysis, and driving process optimisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in event management or operations, preferably within the conferencing, exhibition or festival sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational delivery.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, high-profile events.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite. Experience with Asana and other project management tools is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience building and maintaining vendor and partner relationships.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel internationally as required.

Core Skills
Strategic Operational Oversight
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of operational tasks for events, ensuring high-quality delivery within established timelines.
- Oversee logistics and coordination across all event elements, including conferences, marketplaces, awards, and activations.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Event Director to shape and implement comprehensive event strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Uphold organisational standards and brand guidelines in all operational facets, driving excellence and consistency.
- Develop and manage advanced production schedules, monitoring progress to ensure seamless event execution.
Vendor And Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and venues, ensuring optimal service delivery and value.
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts for security, medical services, and other critical operational needs.
- Supervise partner and supplier activations to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee and enhance partner and supplier activations, ensuring alignment with event objectives and brand values.
- Conduct overseas site visits and supplier meetings where necessary to foster trusting relationships.
Compliance And Safety
- Develop and enforce robust health and safety plans, ensuring compliance throughout the event lifecycle.
- Conduct advanced risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for onsite and pre-event safety.
- Ensure all legal, financial, and operational procedures meet regulatory and organisational standards.
- Proactively address complex issues or incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact.
Enhancing Event Experiences
- Lead the delivery of diverse activations, including bespoke showfloor setups, entertainment, and experiential elements.
- Source and manage premium entertainment and engagement opportunities to elevate the attendee experience.
- Ensure all event signage and communications align with creative directives, maintaining brand integrity.
- Partner with creative teams to push innovation while upholding brand compliance across events.
- Advocate for the integration of cutting-edge technologies to optimise outcomes, demonstrating mastery of technical tools and systems.
Performance Monitoring And Optimisation
- Analyse and report on event performance, operational efficiency, and attendee feedback to inform strategic improvements.
- Lead post-event evaluations, driving actionable insights to enhance future events.
- Champion a culture of accountability, fostering an environment where high standards and results are prioritised.
- Drive problem-solving initiatives and inspire the team to achieve outstanding results within established timelines.
- Collaborate with the wider central teams to design and implement best practices for individual events.

Position Type
Permanent, with a 4-day working week. Our hybrid model includes 3 days in the office (located in Shepherd's Bush), 1 day working from home, and every Friday as a non-working day as standard.
