Senior Operations Manager
Hybrid (Flexible) | Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits
Become the operational partner to the COO of a growing, private equity-backed professional services business.
Our client is an ambitious and rapidly expanding professional services group with offices across the UK. Backed by private equity investment, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth through both acquisition and organic expansion.
As part of this journey, they are looking to appoint a Senior Operations Manager to work directly alongside the Chief Operating Officer, taking ownership of operational delivery across the group and helping to shape the next stage of the organisation's development.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely influential role where you will help build the operational platform for a growing national business.
Role Details
Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the business, ensuring consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across multiple locations.
Working closely with Regional Directors and Functional Heads, you'll translate strategic objectives into operational delivery, improve business performance, and help integrate future acquisitions into a consistent operating model.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
