About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Operations Manager will manage the smooth operation of our Logistics Function, from supplier to end customer, ensuring the effective and efficient management of the company's logistics operations. More specifically they will:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage performance & relationship with multiple Logistics Service providers (LSP) for various modes (Sea, Air, Road, Parcel & White Glove).
- Maintain strict control on Customs and documentation compliance throughout the supply chain.
- Manage and plan shipments from various suppliers globally into European and US DCs or direct to customers (DC Bypass).
- Periodically benchmark and negotiate logistics cost for Sea, Road & Parcel freight with multiple LSPs for Inbound and Outbound.
- Work collaboratively with the merchandising and product development teams to track progress on production and consolidation out of European and global suppliers.
- Support and implement the PO management system globally with all suppliers and DCs.
- Regularly monitor and audit customs compliance on tariff classification, duty & tax payment, documentation and maintain auditable record of all customs entries.
- Monitor Tom Dixon deferment account for duty and VAT payments and reconcile with customs entries.
- Work closely with our Danish 3PL to ensure all shipments depart on time within agreed SLAs.
- Investigate and troubleshoot any logistics queries to fix root causes for future avoidance.
- Organise periodic reviews with various LSPs on cost and performance.
- Update business with any compliance changes, logistics routing and networks changes or closures.
- Work with sales and trade services on developing new logistics routes for various sales channels and countries.
- Key interface with 3PL in Denmark, ensuring warehousing excellence, in line with agreed SLAs.
- Regular review and monitoring of the 3PL, in person, in Denmark.
- Responsible for delivery of the granular annual warehouse and logistics budget, monitoring all expenditure monthly, relative to the budget, and constantly seeking out efficiencies and savings.

Your Story
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Operations Manager, capable of owning the end-to-end logistics process, with full understanding of warehousing operations. More specifically they:
- Ideally have had 10+ years experience in the sector.
- Demonstrate ability to build and manage a team, underpinned by robust processes for each team member, and strictly task and deadline driven.
- Have solid previous logistics and warehousing operations management experience, ideally from an omni-channel business.
- Have a strong understanding of logistics networks, players and routes to markets.
- Have a good understanding of logistics documentation requirements for exports and imports.
- Are great at building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Take ownership and will work diligently to ensure the task is done.
- Is energetic, passionate, positive, friendly and organised.
- Are resilient and willing to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Are comfortable taking initiative, suggesting improvements and making decisions independent of others.
- Preferably have freight forwarding experience.
- Preferably have previous experience on Navision, but not a requirement.
