The Role

This position is integral to our expansion and will ensure seamless operational delivery. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll oversee:

  • Health surveillance programmes
  • Onsite occupational health nurses
  • Client request bookings and coordination
  • MCL Resourcing staffing unit

As a key player, you’ll take full ownership of end-to-end processes, ensuring performance, quality, and exceptional client experiences in a business where you can drive change.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Resource and Capacity Planning: Ensure the right clinicians, equipment, and staff are deployed at the right locations and times.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and develop a team of managers, coordinators, and maintain oversight of the onsite nursing team.
  • SLA Monitoring: Uphold service performance, focusing on turnaround times, quality, compliance, and accurate billing.
  • Operational Resilience: Develop backup plans to prevent single points of failure.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement changes to enhance processes.
  • Compliance: Maintain warrantied compliance with GDPR and ISO standards.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Align operational efforts with leadership goals to support company-wide objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operational management, preferably in occupational health or a regulated healthcare environment.
  • Logistics minded: Ability to optimise workflows between people, equipment, locations, and timelines, recognising bottlenecks.
  • Dynamic problem-solving: Driven by execution alongside creative solutions.
  • Strong team management: Capable of empowering and developing teams, including supervising other managers.
  • Clinical alignment: Comfortable working alongside clinical leadership without clinical accountability.
  • Travel readiness: Requires a full UK driving licence and a willingness to visit client sites.
