Job Title: Senior Operations Manager
Duration: long-term contract
Location: UK Based Hybrid (x3 days/week to Sheffield)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead business operations, financial planning, workforce management, and vendor governance. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate with global teams to ensure efficient business delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end operational management across finance, workforce planning, vendor management, and business operations.
- Drive strategic initiatives, business case development, and operational transformation programs.
- Manage annual operating plans, budgets, cost optimization, and financial reporting.
- Oversee workforce planning, hiring, onboarding/offboarding, and resource management.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, RFP/RFI processes, and third-party performance.
- Ensure efficient purchase-to-pay processes, invoice approvals, and governance compliance.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver operational excellence across multiple regions.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in operations/business management, preferably within Financial Services or Technology.
- Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and business case development experience.
- Expertise in vendor, contract, and stakeholder management.
- Experience managing global operations, large-scale programs, and multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
