YouMeSushi is entering an exciting new phase of growth. With more than 30 corporate and franchised restaurants and ambitious expansion plans, we're looking for an exceptional Senior Operations Manager to help lead the next stage of our journey.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, commercial performance and guest experience across both our company-owned and franchised estate.

Leading the Operations team, you'll develop high-performing people, strengthen operational capability and build the scalable systems, standards and processes needed to support our continued growth.

The Role

As our Senior Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead, inspire and develop the Operations team, creating a high-performance culture built on accountability, coaching and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the operational performance of our corporate and franchised restaurant estate.
  • Drive sales, profitability and guest satisfaction across every location.
  • Manage the operational P&L, driving sales, labour, food cost and controllable expenses to deliver sustainable profitability across the estate.
  • Coach and support Operations Managers to consistently deliver exceptional operational standards.
  • Build strong relationships with franchise partners, helping them improve operational and commercial performance.
  • Develop scalable systems, standards and processes that support future growth.
  • Ensure outstanding food quality, service standards and brand consistency across every restaurant.
  • Own the operational P&L and key performance indicators, using data and insight to identify opportunities, improve profitability and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Finance, HR, Property and Supply Chain to deliver key business priorities.
  • Support new restaurant openings, acquisitions and strategic business projects.
  • Create a culture of ownership, accountability and operational excellence throughout the business.

About You

You'll be an experienced operational leader with a passion for hospitality, developing people and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You'll bring:

  • Proven multi-site operational leadership experience within hospitality, QSR or casual dining.
  • Demonstrable experience within a franchised hospitality business, with a strong understanding of both franchise and corporate operations.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with franchise partners and helping them improve operational and commercial performance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience managing operational P&Ls and delivering sustainable improvements in sales, labour, food cost and profitability.
  • A proven track record of improving sales, profitability, operational performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing operational teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety and operational compliance.
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset.

Salary & Benefits
