Role: Senior Operations Manager

Salary: £65,000 plus bonuses
Senior Operations Manager → Head of Operations (Succession Role) | Health & Beauty | London
A fast-growing, purpose-led health and beauty manufacturer is looking for an Operations leader to take hands-on ownership of warehouse, production, procurement and demand planning - working closely with the Founder to keep every product shipping on time, to standard, and at the right cost.
Operations Leadership
- Take progressive ownership of the operational strategy
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
- Ensure goods-in, storage, pick-and-pack and despatch are delivered to standard and on time
Production & Quality Control
- Oversee handcrafted production, ensuring output meets quality, freshness and volume requirements

Procurement & Supply Chain
- Manage supplier relationships and drive progress towards farm-direct sourcing goals
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Support accurate demand forecasts and stock plans with the commercial team
Cost Management & Operational Efficiency
- Own operational costs against budget and drive year-on-year reduction in cost per unit
People & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team including the Warehouse Manager and production staff
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food/cosmetic regulations across the operation
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years in operations management, ideally within health, beauty, FMCG or handcrafted manufacturing
- A track record of leading teams and driving results
- Commercial sharpness - cost, margin, efficiency all matter here
- The ambition to grow into a Leadership Team seat
