Drive Succession:
- Support recruitment and successful onboarding within your area
- Build robust family trees in your area

- Ensure the right people are in the right place

Drive your business:
- Coach and support managers to ensure their teams consistently deliver amazing customer service
- Ensure your teams consistently deliver delicious food and drink, putting the customer’s needs first
- Never compromise on quality or safety standards
- Drive sales and profit through forecasting, rota management, ordering, and production
- Continuously analyse and review your Area’s results, proactively reacting to any challenges or obstacles
- Have full P&L accountability

Drive and embed change:
- Be the ambassador for change, effectively communicating with your team
- Actively follow up with the team on new standards or initiatives for successful implementation
- Listen and give constructive feedback
- Ensure your team is well informed of any business changes or initiatives

The Senior Operations Manager role reports into the Head of Operations.
About you
As a Senior Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence across the region and supporting the wider Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and deliver regional strategy objectives aligned to overall company goals.
People Leadership
- Manage and support complex people and HR matters
- Role-model Pret behaviours
Results & Standards
Act as a role model for high standards and drive strong regional results.
Growing the Business
Work closely with internal and external partners to improve operational performance.
Mentorship & Development
- Mentor and support NTP (New to Pret) and newly promoted Operations Managers
- Ensure successful transition and development
Stepping Up
Deputise in the Head of Operations’ absence, supporting the Region and Senior Leadership Team.
Collaboration
Build strong relationships across regions and with the Support Centre.
Continuous Improvement
Challenge the status quo, always focusing on solutions and excellence.
Role Details
Duration & Hours: Full-time (42 hours per week)
The Role Offer
Base Salary & Bonus
- £71,175 – £74,675
- Bonus opportunity: up to 30%
