Job Description

About The Role and What You'll Need

About The Role

Uber's UK Operations team sits at the intersection of global strategy and local execution. We are responsible for translating Uber's technology, products, and marketplace capabilities into real-world growth across cities, riders, drivers, and use cases.

Within UK Mobility, the Rider Operations team owns the rider lifecycle and is responsible for growing, engaging, and retaining riders across the UK. The team identifies where future rider growth will come from, builds strategies to unlock that growth, and executes initiatives across CRM, incentives, partnerships, product adoption, in-app channels, and local market opportunities.

We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to help lead Rider Growth & Lifecycle for the UK. This person will identify and prioritise growth opportunities across acquisition, engagement, frequency, retention, products, use cases, segments, and geographies. They will combine strong analytical problem-solving with excellent execution, stakeholder management, and commercial judgement.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You will work closely with local UK Operations, Marketing, CRM, Product, Central Operations, Data Science, Finance, Legal, and external partners to launch, measure, and scale initiatives that drive measurable growth for the UK Rides business.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven growth operator: someone who can structure ambiguous problems, find insights in data, turn those insights into action, execute quickly, measure incrementality, and build scalable playbooks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
