- Drive sales and profit through:
- Forecasting
- Rota management
- Ordering
- Production
- Proactively analyse results and react to challenges
- Hold full P&L accountability

Drive & Embed Change
- Serve as the ambassador for change
- Communicate effectively with your team
- Follow up to ensure successful implementation of new standards
- Provide constructive feedback and inform teams about business changes
Reports to: Head of Operations Hours: Full-time (42 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
In addition to core operations duties, the Senior Operations Manager has these key priorities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver regional strategy aligned with company goals
People Leadership
- Manage complex people & HR matters while role-modelling Pret behaviours
Results & Standards
- Act as a role model for high standards and drive strong regional performance
Growing the Business
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve operations
Mentorship & Development
- Mentor and support newly trained programmes (NTP) and promoted Operations Managers
- Ensure smooth transitions and professional growth
Stepping Up
- Deputise for the Head of Operations in their absence
- Support the Region and Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
Collaboration
- Forge strong relationships across regions and Support Centre teams
Continuous Improvement
- Challenge the status quo
- Focus on solutions and excellence
What We Offer
Competitive Remuneration
- Base salary: £71,175 – £74,675
- Up to 30% bonus

The Interview Journey
Every Pret interview follows these steps:
- Informal chat (30 minutes with recruitment team)
- In-person interview (1 hour with hiring manager at London Victoria Head Office)
Additional stages may include:
