Within the Real Estate Programme Services division at Turner & Townsend, the Real Estate Advisory team comprises experts in workplace consulting, change management, corporate real estate, and facilities management. We deliver some of the world’s largest programmes and projects for a market-leading client base across both the public and private sectors. Job Description
We are a UK-based team of Facilities Management (FM) consultants and Technical Project Managers, delivering specialist advisory services across sectors including technology, financial services, central government, and healthcare.
Our FM consulting capability spans the full built asset lifecycle, from defining FM strategies aligned to business objectives, to designing and implementing operating models, improving service delivery, and optimising supply chains. We support clients in enhancing FM performance through robust governance, data-driven decision making, and the effective integration of people, process, and technology.
As a Senior or Principle Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality FM advisory services, supporting client engagements, and contributing to the continued growth and development of our FM Advisory offering.

The role is based in London, with travel across the UK (and occasionally internationally), including overnight stays, as required.

Key Responsibilities and Behaviours
Delivery & Client Support
Support and where required lead the successful delivery of FM advisory commissions, ensuring high-quality outputs and client satisfaction. Contribute to project delivery across multiple engagements, applying FM best practice and analytical insight. Undertake detailed analysis, develop reports, and support the creation of client deliverables. Assist in workshops, stakeholder engagement activities, and client presentations. Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
Technical Contribution
Apply knowledge of FM operations, CAFM/IWMS systems, and FM asset management principles to deliver practical solutions. Support FM design reviews, audits, and operational readiness activities. Contribute to data analysis and interpretation to inform recommendations. Assist in the development of methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Business Development & Growth
Support business development activities including research, proposal development, and bid preparation. Contribute to the development of client propositions and marketing materials. Identify potential opportunities within existing client engagements and escalate to senior team members.
Team & Personal Development
Collaborate effectively within project teams, contributing to a positive and high-performing team environment. Support mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior colleagues where appropriate. Take ownership of personal development and actively seek learning opportunities to build capability.
Commercial & Operational Awareness
Demonstrate awareness of project budgets and timelines, supporting efficient delivery. Assist in maintaining quality standards, governance, and risk management processes. Work collaboratively across the wider business, supporting multidisciplinary delivery.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Competencies
As a Senior or Principal Consultant, you will demonstrate:
Experience supporting delivery of FM advisory or consultancy projects Working knowledge of CAFM and IWMS systems Understanding of FM asset management principles (e.g. SFG20, planned maintenance) Knowledge of FM operations, contract management, and service delivery models Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and work as part of a team
Education, Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or significant industry experience Progress toward or interest in professional accreditation (e.g. IWFM, RICS, CIBSE or similar) Experience within FM, consultancy, or a related environment Exposure to client-facing project delivery Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
