Clinical Trials Statistician – Senior/Principal

Clinical trials are high stakes, demanding high standards. Veramed sets this standard by bringing together the sharpest minds in data management, biostatistics, and programming, backed by cutting-edge technology and proven processes.

Our globally connected, caring team delivers quality, precision, and collaboration, earning trust through consistency and integrity. From rapid-fire project work to long-term partnerships, Veramed brings the right minds to every challenge.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality statistical support and take on responsibilities aligned with experience and interest, including:

  • Supervisory roles (e.g., line management, project leadership)
  • Direct client engagement, particularly in scenarios with no internal statistical support
  • Independent project management with a focus on delivering excellence

Ideal candidates bring significant experience in clinical studies and regulatory submissions, are comfortable working without immediate supervision, and understand client-facing demands. Strong communication skills are essential—including translating statistical concepts for non-specialists and delivering presentations to client teams confidently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Statistical oversight of clinical studies at project level
  • Provision of statistical input across the lifecycle of clinical studies
  • Review and oversight of statistical deliverables from other Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
  • Development and/or review of study documentation, including:
    • Statistical sections of protocols
    • Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
  • Study design activities, such as:
    • Sample size calculations
    • Ad-hoc and exploratory analyses
  • Additional statistical support across client projects as required
  • Confident coding in R, SAS, or other non-SAS languages (or readiness to upskill)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
