Orchestration Solution Architect – Europe (Multi-National Role) – Vodafone
About the Role

As an Orchestration Solution Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying complex solutions across European markets and Group functions, driving innovation while ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic direction.
This role requires security clearance.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for:
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced orchestration solutions while ensuring full technical functionality meets business and operational requirements.
- Develop and present technical concepts for specialist tasks to expert boards and management, leading global and cross-domain initiatives.
Demand & Requirement Management
- Manage demand engineering and coordinate with stakeholders to align projects with Verizon’s strategic direction.
- Work closely with local stakeholders across Europe to ensure agreed solutions deliver expected functionality.
Automation & Integration
- Design and implement automation tools and frameworks (e.g., using APIs like REST, RESTCONF, Kafka, SOAP/XML).
- Develop Python, scripting languages, and integrate with Cisco NSO, Nokia IBSL, Nokia BPO, and Ciena BPO.
Requirements & Network Orchestration
- Collaborate with network and service designers to define orchestration needs, including support for TMF and IETF network models across Layer 2 and IP VPN services.

Solution Implementation & Monitoring
- Implement orchestration workflows ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for processes, workflows, and configuration.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and drive continuous enhancement aligned with industry best practices.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a strategic, accountable, and technically versed professional who can:
- Lead with vision – Deliver complex projects while balancing cross-functional priorities.
- Drive innovation – Foster a learning culture with data-driven insights.
- Foster collaboration – Build trust and manage stakeholders in a matrixed organisation.
- Technical Expertise –
- Deep proficiency in orchestration tools (e.g., Cisco NSO, Nokia EMS/BNP, Ciena BPO).
- Strong knowledge of Vodafone products, network protocols, and OSS architectures.
- Hands-on experience in software engineering (agile and waterfall methodologies).
- scripting Python for automation and API efficiency (REST, Kafka, SOAP/XML).
