Department: Brand Creative

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Head Office, London

Description

A key member of our Global Design team, we are looking for a Senior Packaging Designer to join our global creative team and help shape the future of the brand through beautifully crafted, innovative packaging. As Senior Packaging Designer, you’ll lead the design and development of packaging across our products, kits and gifting collateral, from concept through to design and artwork. You’ll play a critical role in translating brand guidelines and visual direction into standout premium packaging.

Reporting to the Global Head of Design and working within the Global Design team, you will collaborate closely with other senior designers on communicating the creative direction and upholding the brand’s visual identity. Working closely with the packaging project manager, NPD and regulatory teams to bring designs into production and to our customers. We’re looking for a creative and detail-driven designer that ensures visual consistency and excellence. While bringing a refined design eye, strong conceptual thinking, and clear communication to every stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of visually compelling, on-brand packaging concepts across all ELEMIS product formats. Pairing creative thinking with knowledge of materials and finishes to create tactile brand experiences.
  • Develop design direction into artworks with exceptional eye for detail, typography, and user experience.
  • Push creative boundaries across form, typography, colour, and finishes. Ability to apply a refined understanding of luxury design cues to elevate design where relevant.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Design to interpret and translate overarching creative vision into refined, on-brand packaging solutions.
  • Deep understanding of print processes, materials, and packaging production and able to create print-ready artwork with precision and accuracy.
  • Elevate the creative standard for packaging design across the brand while maintaining and evolving a consistent design system for efficiency and brand positioning.
  • Work with the packaging project manager to ensure output is delivered according to milestones and deadlines. Advising on timelines and managing priorities across multiple projects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with wider teams (NPD and regulatory) to ensure all designs meet global technical, regulatory, and sustainability requirements and incorporating feedback when necessary.
  • Present designs clearly, articulating the strategy and thinking behind your work to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
  • Navigate feedback effectively, refining and elevating work to achieve the best creative outcome with contributions from wider teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Adapt designs and artworks across formats, maintaining consistency across sizes, platforms, and languages. Champion high standards of design excellence and attention to detail
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in design, packaging, beauty and skincare to keep the brand fresh and relevant.
  • Work within existing brand guidelines while also developing and implementing any changes to our brand assets and visuals as they evolve.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
