About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Children’s Hearing Services at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. We are a dedicated team of 5 Paediatric Audiologists, 5 Clinical Scientists, and 4 Newborn Hearing Screeners. We are looking for a permanent Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist as we expand our team. This post may include some weekend working on a rota basis.

This role will be based across several different sites in North Derbyshire to deliver clinics; therefore, a full current driving licence is essential for this role. (For applicants with a disability, suitable alternative arrangements may be agreed if necessary).

About the Service

As an IQIPS accredited service, we offer the opportunity to work within a highly skilled paediatric team. As a qualified paediatric audiologist, this will offer you the opportunity to develop and extend your educational & clinical skills as well as participating in clinical audit, allowing you to contribute to service developments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
