Senior Paid Media Account Director

About Navigator

Navigator is a travel-focused ad tech platform built for scale, precision, and impact. Following their recent Series A funding round, we are evolving from a digital consultancy into a data-driven advertising platform at the intersection of travel intelligence and multi-channel media execution.

We ingest second-party data from leading travel companies including OTAs, airlines, and metasearch platforms, segment audiences across all our data partners, then syndicate those audiences across every major advertising platform. Whether our clients' travellers are, we have a way of reaching them.

We are building towards an "agentic advertising" future where AI-driven automation handles execution with expert human-in-the-loop decision-making. This is an opportunity to shape that platform while working with elite hospitality and travel brands at the forefront of digital advertising.

About the Role

This is a senior, hybrid role that blends paid media leadership with client ownership. You will manage both strategy discussions with clients and hands-on platform execution, bridging account management and operational delivery seamlessly.

You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, lead paid media strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, and programmatic channels, and be accountable for all commercial outcomes. This isn’t a role for someone who excels in only one area—it demands mastery of both.

As Navigator scales its AI-augmented media platform, you’ll help guide future automation rather than just execute within it. Your insights will directly shape the evolution of the paid media function.

What You’ll Do

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact, managing relationships from onboarding to renewal.
  • Lead strategic planning, quarterly reviews, annual media planning, and performance narratives linking channel data to business outcomes.
  • Handle difficult client conversations confidently, including missed targets, creative pivots, budget reallocations, or expectation resets.
  • Translate client briefs into clear internal direction, while pushing back constructively on overly vague or unclear requirements.
  • Build and maintain trust with senior client stakeholders, advocating Navigator’s media strategy perspective.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

    • Meta Ads (primary focus)
    • Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
    • TikTok
    • Programmatic (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk)

  • Oversee media plans from briefing to live, including budget forecasting and performance pacing across multiple clients.
  • Work with pixels, tracking setups, and CAPI—diagnosing technical issues and coordinating fixes with the data team.
  • Navigate attribution models (last-click, data-driven, etc.) to inform budget allocation decisions.
  • Produce client-facing reports, turning performance data into clear narratives that prioritise business impact over vanity metrics.

Commercial & Strategic Contribution

  • Identify ways to scale client budgets and improve performance while maintaining efficiency.
  • Translate performance insights into commercial opportunities and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, privacy changes, new betas, and advancements in ad tech.

    • TikTok advertising.
    • Programmatic buying (DV360, The Trade Desk).

  • Proven track record in managing client relationships independently, including difficult conversations.
  • Commercially sharp—understanding metrics like margin, pacing, and revenue dynamics, not just campaign performance.
  • Proven ability to manage £100K+ monthly budgets across multiple accounts.
  • Star communication skills: Write ** concise, action-oriented reports** and present to clients with clarity.
  • Organised and self-directed—able to juggle multiple accounts while maintaining deadlines.
